Add the connector
This server lets an AI assistant search your Paprika recipes, grocery lists, meal plans, menus, and pantry. The assistant signs in with Google. Only the addresses on the server allowlist can connect, and they all use the Paprika account configured on the server.
https://providentia.cloud/mcp
Claude.ai and Claude Desktop
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Name it
Paprikaand paste the server URL:
https://providentia.cloud/mcp
- Click Add. When the browser opens, sign in with the allowlisted Google account.
- In a new chat, enable Paprika from the tools menu and ask a question.
Custom connectors are available on Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. On Team and Enterprise, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create.
- Name it
Paprikaand paste this URL. Leave authentication on the server’s own sign-in, which is Google:
https://providentia.cloud/mcp
- Finish creating the connector, then sign in with the allowlisted Google account and select it from the + menu in a chat.
Custom MCP connectors require a paid ChatGPT plan with developer mode. Menu names can vary as OpenAI updates the app.
Claude Code
Run this in your terminal, then approve the Google sign-in that opens:
claude mcp add --transport http paprika https://providentia.cloud/mcp
Add --scope user to make it available in every project. Run /mcp inside Claude Code to check the connection.
Cursor
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (every project) or .cursor/mcp.json (this project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"paprika": {
"url": "https://providentia.cloud/mcp"
}
}
}
Open Settings → MCP and connect paprika. Cursor opens Google sign-in. Use the allowlisted account.
VS Code
Add this to .vscode/mcp.json, or run MCP: Add Server… from the Command Palette and choose HTTP:
{
"servers": {
"paprika": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://providentia.cloud/mcp"
}
}
}
Start the server from the MCP view and complete the Google sign-in with the allowlisted account.
Other MCP clients
Clients that support remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth only need the URL. Sign in with the allowlisted Google account when asked:
https://providentia.cloud/mcp
For a client that only speaks local stdio, use the mcp-remote bridge (Node.js 18 or newer):
{
"mcpServers": {
"paprika": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://providentia.cloud/mcp"
]
}
}
}

Try asking
- What can I cook this week with the chicken and rice already in the pantry?
- Add the ingredients for chili to my grocery list, and skip anything I already have.
- Plan dinners for the next five nights and show me the grocery list that comes out of it.
- Find recipes that take less than 30 minutes and use pasta.
